Schema markup generator
for CPA firms and real estate agents

Fill in your firm’s details and copy the code into the head of your home page. It is JSON-LD structured data with the schema.org type that fits: AccountingService for CPA and accounting firms, RealEstateAgent for agents, teams and brokerages. Nothing you type leaves your browser. In our studies, 65 of 184 CPA firm websites (35%) and 76 of 163 agent websites (47%) had no structured data naming the firm or agent.

    What structured data does

Structured data is a short block of code on your page that states facts in a fixed vocabulary, schema.org: this is an accounting firm, this is its name, address, phone number and website, these are its hours and the profiles that belong to it. Google says it uses structured data that it finds on the web to understand the content of the page, and it recommends the JSON-LD format that this generator writes.

In our studies of US websites from Google Maps in October 2026, 65 of 184 CPA firm websites (35%) and 76 of 163 real estate agent websites (47%) had no structured data that names the firm or the agent. Only 46 of the 163 agent websites (28%) used the RealEstateAgent type.

Structured data does not get a firm recommended on its own. What ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity say also depends on the sources they cite, such as your Google Business Profile, its reviews and directories. It is the part of your website that states the facts without leaving them to interpretation.

    Which type to choose

Google asks for the most specific LocalBusiness type possible. For a CPA or accounting firm that is AccountingService, the schema.org type for an accountancy business, which is a kind of FinancialService and of LocalBusiness. For a real estate agent, team or brokerage it is RealEstateAgent, a kind of LocalBusiness. If you work under a brokerage, the generator names it as the parent organization.

Both types take the same fields as any local business. Google requires a name and an address for local business markup and recommends a phone number with country and area code, your website and your opening hours. Use the same details as on your website and your Google Business Profile.

    Where to paste the code

Paste it into the head of your home page. Most website builders have a field for this, called header code, code injection or custom code: Squarespace calls it Code Injection, Wix calls it Custom Code, Webflow has custom code in the site and page settings, and on WordPress a plugin that adds code to the head of your site does it. If someone else runs your website, send them the code.

Put the code into the page itself, not through Google Tag Manager. Google can read structured data that JavaScript adds, but crawlers that do not run JavaScript cannot. In our own server logs on October 14, 2026, OpenAI’s search crawler ran the JavaScript on 4 of the 7 pages it fetched, and ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and GPTBot showed no sign of it.

If your website platform or an SEO plugin already adds business markup, change it there instead of adding a second business. The AI crawler checker shows which schema.org types your home page carries.

    How to check it

Google’s Rich Results Test shows whether Google can read the markup and which fields it found. The Schema Markup Validator checks it against the schema.org vocabulary. Our AI crawler checker loads your home page without running JavaScript, the way many AI crawlers fetch pages, and shows whether the markup is there and names your business.

    Common questions, answered straight

Which schema type should a CPA firm use?

AccountingService, the schema.org type for an accountancy business. It is a kind of FinancialService and of LocalBusiness, so it takes the same name, address, phone and opening hours fields, and Google asks for the most specific LocalBusiness type possible.

Which schema type should a real estate agent use?

RealEstateAgent, the schema.org type for a real estate agent, which is a kind of LocalBusiness. It fits an individual agent, a team and a brokerage. If you work under a brokerage, name it as the parent organization. In our study only 46 of 163 agent websites (28%) used it.

Does schema markup get my firm recommended by ChatGPT?

Not on its own. It states your name, address, phone number and services in a form machines read without guessing. What ChatGPT and other assistants say also depends on the sources they cite, such as your Google Business Profile, its reviews and directories. In our studies, 65 of 184 CPA firm websites (35%) and 76 of 163 agent websites (47%) had no structured data naming the firm or agent.

Where do I paste the code?

Into the head of your home page, through the field your website builder offers for header code, code injection or custom code, or through a header code plugin on WordPress. If someone else runs your website, send them the code. Then check it with Google’s Rich Results Test and our AI crawler checker.

Can I add it with Google Tag Manager?

Google can read structured data that JavaScript adds, but crawlers that do not run JavaScript cannot. In our server logs on October 14, 2026, OpenAI’s search crawler ran the JavaScript on 4 of the 7 pages it fetched, and ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and GPTBot showed no sign of it. Put the code into the page itself.

Is anything I type sent to you?

No. The generator runs in your browser and sends nothing to us or anyone else. Measurement on this site is cookieless and records only which page was viewed.

    Who made this generator?

Tim Muenzel, a systems engineer who runs createwithlogic, a US company (CREATEWITHLOGIC LLC, New Mexico) that works on AI visibility for accounting firms and real estate agents. It is free and needs no signup.
